茨城閉幕 グランプリ発表 | IBARAKI 2023 CLOSED

2023年度のジャパンワールド映画祭・常陸大宮は3年目を迎えました！今年も来場者数の記録を塗りかて、大きく成長しました！多くの方々に映画・アート・里山・地域の多様性や魅力を感じていただけて嬉しく思っています。The Ibaraki Screenings was a great success! The Festival grew much bigger than the previous year attracting more audience and the energy at the venue was warm.

多様性の時代、東京だけでなく地方でも暮らしながらアートや食文化や自然に触れた生き方が可能です。そのためにも都市と地方を繋ぎそれぞれの魅力を楽しめるこういったイベントをより広く発信して行きたいと思っています。We hope that the Festival triggered some thought or/and potential about the diversity of culture and aesthetics of how we can all live uniquely and accept one another.

豪華エンタメ・イベント RECAP

第３回となる本年度は以前から実施を夢見ていた市民が結成する市民ミュージカル！ついに実現し映画祭・芸術祭の１週前には大きなホールでミュージカルの舞台をロゼホールと共同で実施、そして映画祭・芸術祭でも合唱を披露しました！

枝物の生産地としても有名な常陸大宮市。枝物の体験イベントや、小瀬高校による花いけバトルのパフォーマンスで会場は盛り上がりました。

さらに、栃木県境にある有名な鷲子神社（とりのこ）で知られるこの地で鷲子お囃子保存会を運営し、伝統古典芸能の継承を続ける保存会のメンバーによりお囃子パフォーマンスも今年で２度目の参加。お祭りがなければなかなか見ることのないレアなパフォーマンス！

世界各国の映画監督でのライブ中継では、来場者と監督の国際交流も。
 
会場では飲食や体験ブースで親子でもピクニックのように参加できる空間！
  
古民家などの日本建築で使われる釘を使わない木組み手法をPRするブースや、開催地、旧美和村が林業の町ということで”箸づくり体験”など

姉妹開催地である長野県飯綱町はりんごの産地。飯綱町の魅力を楽しめるコーナーも🍎

受賞結果の発表・また事件発生！？

本年度から審査員が選ぶ「最優秀作品賞」と観客が純粋に良いと思った作品に投票する「観客賞」の２つの賞をコンペ部門では競い合うことになりました。

観客賞を受賞したのはキルギスの作品「Kindik Ene」
そして！なんと本年度のグランプリも同作品「Kindik Ene」となりました！　まさかのW受賞です！！

実は昨年度の映画祭でもW受賞という驚きの結果。2年連続面白い結末に会場は盛り上がりました。

2023年度 観客賞・グランプリ 常陸大宮市
ドラマ部門「Kindik Ene」
監督：Taberik Iusupova　国：キルギス

文明の発達やグローバリズムによって失われる神聖な伝統風習。キルギスの医学生は妊娠によって自由と伝統との狭間でキルギス神話の女神Umai-Eneの存在に共鳴する。Development of civilization & globalization, sacred traditions & customs were lost. The main character is realizing the necessity of these sacred rituals while her pregnancy, begins to connect with the female deity Umai-Ene.

監督 Taberik Iusupova

キルギス大学、文化芸術学部　ドキュメンタリー映画部卒業。2011年よりキャスティング・ディレクター、アシスタント・ディレクター、プロデューサーとして活動し、現在は映画監督として活躍している。Graduated from the Kyrgyz State University of Culture and Art named after B.Beishenalieva Department of Cinema and Television, majoring in Director of feature and documentary films. Since 2011, she has been working as a casting director, 1st AD, producer. Director of short films “The fifth day of the week” (2015 special jury prize – international forum of young cinema “Umut”), a series of television programs “I invest in Kyrgyzstan” (2 seasons, 16 episodes), “A similar look” (9 series). Director and producer of the film almanac “Kyrgyzstan 2020”. Awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Minister of Culture for “Contribution to cinema” (2022).

作品への想い
本作には２つのテーマが。一つは女性が自分で決断する権利です。社会の中で女性は夫や彼氏や上司などから選択を強いられることが多い。彼らは女性自身よりも賢いアイデアがあると思い込んでいる節があります。そして多くの場合そういった考え方は女性の内面の声を無視します。２つ目のテーマは人類の神聖な領域です。この地球に生み落とされ生きる者としての居場所。グローバリズムやテクノロジーの発展とともに忘れ去られた精神的な要素。この地球そのものに意識や精神があるのに… 私たちの先祖は地球を観察し地球と調和をとりながら生きてきました。本作の核にあるものは、自分自身や自然が発する心の声を聞いて生きることです。I tried to raise two main themes in this film. The first one is a woman’s right to choose. Often women have to make decisions based on different life situations, under the influence of others who “know better” how to live or how to prioritize. It can be husbands, partners, bosses, family members, friends and sometimes even strangers. For some reason everyone in society knows what is best without taking into account the internal needs of a woman. The second theme is the sacred side of human life. Thinking about a person’s place on earth. For the most part, a modern person in the flow of globalization and technological progress has forgotten about the spiritual side of life, that the Earth also has Mind and Spirit, that our ancestors observed sacred traditions, and lived in harmony with the Earth. The main message of the film is to live according to the call of the heart in harmony with oneself and nature.
