2024年度で四年目となるジャパンワールド映画祭・常陸大宮！
無事閉幕いたしました！

JAPAN WORL FILM FESTIVAL in IBARAKI Prefecture ended in a great success! This year we had a typhoon just a day before the festival was held and we almost though to postpone the event but we were so lucky that we are greeted with a sunny beautiful weather accommodating 350 plus audiences at the venue and to showcase the amazing films from around the world!
本年度は開催前日に台風にみまわれ、一時は中止も検討しなければならない事態になりましたが、幸いにも開催当日は晴れ！350名の来場者を受け入れ、世界各国の素晴らしい映画の上映や地域のアーティストのパフォーマンスをお届けすることができました！

Reception area. We had casts from the locally made film “Miami Blue” and the writer, greeting the audiences.

毎年キッズ用のイベントスペースや工作スペースなどを用意しています。
Every year we have some kids play room / area to accommodate families to be able to enjoy our film & art festival.

観客の投票で決まるグランプリ！ハラハラします！
We are always excited and nervous about the audience award votings!

市民が作る地域の映画”マイアミブルー” の舞台挨拶。今年で３作目となります！　今年の作品もこれから世界の映画祭へ羽ばたきます！
コンペ部門の上映の後はオンラインで海外と中継し監督とQ&A。国内作品は出演者キャストの登壇もありました！ロシアの映画監督も登壇くださいました！
Some snaps from the stage after the screenings. We had director from Russian and some casts from Tokyo. We also invited the online Q&A connecting Japan and overseas for the cultural exchange.

出店ブースでは体験イベントも充実！
We have many booth for shops showcasing unique people and shops from the local area.

林業の町として栄えた茨城県北ということで、地元の木材を使ったお箸作り体験を実施。箸づくりワークショップはかなり好評、大人も子供も真剣です！
Northern Ibaraki is well known for the forestry and woodwork. We had the booth where you can make your own original chopsticks organized by the local woodwork organization.

枝物としても知られるこの地域ならではのイベント、花いけバトルは枝物部会の協力で実施いたしました！パフォーマンスは小瀬高校の学生たち。
The local village is also known for producing flowers and branches for flower arrangement. We held a small competition by the local high school students.

地方の創生を目指す映画祭・芸術祭。地域の手仕事を増やす試みとしてモンペ作り。余った着物の生地で制作します。本年度はモンペのファッションショーランウェイを実施！
栃木県茂木町のうたし農園さんとナチュラルフード森の扉のご協力で盛大に開催しました！
As a part of revitalizing the rural Japan which is our mission as a festival, we promoted the traditional Japanese pants called Monpe, often hand made with the left over or old kimono fabrics.
